Tragic End To A High-Speed Chase: Kerrville Police Identify Alleged Carjacker!
The name of the suspected carjacker who perished in an accident during a fast-moving pursuit has been revealed.
The culprit, Robbie Mario Ybarra, 46, has been identified, according to the Kerrville Police Department.
According to the police, they got several complaints on October 17 about carjackings that happened near the 1200 block of Junction Highway.
On Sidney Baker, State Highway 16, officers found the stolen car and attempted to stop it, according to the police.
The suspect left the area, according to the police, and ended up getting into a pickup truck on the 1800 block of Sidney Baker. At the scene, Ybarra was pronounced deceased.

Before the pursuit on October 17, Ybarra attempted two more carjackings in the vicinity of Junction Highway, according to the Kerrville Police Department’s investigation.
Ybarra is accused of attempting to steal a car at Wendy’s on 1220 Junction Highway and in the parking lot of Walmart on 1216 Junction Highway.
According to investigators, Ybarra had a lengthy criminal past that dates back to 1995. In December 2022, Ybarra was granted parole by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
