It was early Thursday morning when an apartment fire in Northeast Dallas injured one person.
Near the intersection of Greenville Avenue and Walnut Hill Lane, a fire broke out just before 5 a.m.

The building had two apartments that were destroyed. Damage from the smoke was found in two other books. It has not yet been determined what started the blaze.
The victim, who suffered burns to their feet, was taken to the hospital.
