Stranger Con, Featuring Caleb McLaughlin, Dacre Montgomery, and More, in the Chicago Area This Year

This weekend, the “Stranger Things” fan convention will celebrate the series with quizzes, auctions, karaoke, and more.

This weekend, all things bizarre from the Upside Down will take over the Chicago region.

The “Stranger Con: A Salute to the TV Series ‘Stranger Things‘” fan convention will be held in Schaumburg on Saturday and Sunday. The “Stranger Things” cast will make special appearances at the event.

On Saturday, Caleb McLaughlin, who portrays Lucas Sinclair, will be available for photo ops and autographs. On Sunday, Dacre Montgomery, who portrays Billy Hargrove on the programme, will attend the conference.

Shannon Purser, Mason Dye, and Gabriella Pizzolo are also in the cast. They play the roles of Barb Holland, Jason Carver, and Suzie Bingham, respectively.

The event will include a question-and-answer session, allowing fans to interact with the actors.

Creation Entertainment’s immersive event will also include franchise-related quiz challenges, auctions, singing, and more. On Saturday, a costume contest will be held to determine which participants have the greatest 1980s attire.

The Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, at 1515 Thoreau Dr., will have a limited number of tickets for the convention.
