LAS VEGAS — In the Las Vegas Valley’s southernmost region, on Blue Diamond Road, east of Arville Street. The bicyclist was seriously hurt on Wednesday night after colliding with a car.
According to the evidence and witness accounts, a 2004 Toyota Sienna was approaching the intersection of Arville Street while a cyclist was crossing Blue Diamond Road from south to north, east of the junction of Arville Street, at about 11:23 p.m.
The collision happened when the bicyclist entered the Toyota’s path of travel, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
The driver stayed on the scene and displayed no signs of intoxication. The pedestrian was injured seriously and taken by medical personnel to UMC Trauma.
The Collision Investigation Section represents the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department still looking into the collision.
