After attempting to flee in the stolen SUV, two carjacking suspects were apprehended. Near 65th Street and Champlain Avenue, state troopers from Illinois saw a Honda CRV at around noon.
The suspects fled in a vehicle on the Kennedy Expressway and exited at Damen Avenue. They exited the automobile on Fullerton Avenue and made a hasty getaway. Both of the perpetrators were apprehended by police in the area.
