Lehigh County Coroner Identifies Victims In Devastating Allentown Shooting Incident
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office named the 44-year-old lady and 1-year-old boy who were slain in a home shooting on Friday night in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, Sebastian Serrano, a 1-year-old newborn boy, was discovered shot inside a house on the 100 block of Chestnut Street, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. Although an autopsy is still underway, the Lehigh County Coroner declared the baby’s death to be a homicide.
Just before 10 p.m., the 44-year-old lady, identified by authorities as Ada Ortiz, was discovered shot in her residence. According to officials, Ortiz was killed by multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the Lehigh County Coroner, the shooting occurred inside a house on the 100 block of Chestnut Street at approximately 8:49 p.m. on Friday. It killed Serrano and Ortiz and injured a 66-year-old male, who authorities said was expected to survive.
The Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, and the Allentown Police Department are all looking into the fatal shooting.
