On Saturday, police said they discovered the body of a young woman from Chicago in a hotel room in Evanston.
Evanston police say that 15-year-old Nyasia Jennings was discovered dead in a Holiday Inn room on the hotel’s sixth floor in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue.
The youngster had been listed as a runaway shortly before her death.
The toxicology results from the Cook County medical examiner’s office will determine the cause and manner of her death, which are currently the subject of a police investigation.
