Fatal Collision Between RV And 18-wheeler, Fire Closes Lanes On Highway 21
Highway 21 was closed in multiple lanes due to a fire caused by an RV and an 18-wheeler crash. At FM 50 and Highway 21, in Burleson County, close to Caldwell, the incident happened about one in the afternoon on Friday.
The Department of Public Safety reports that an 18-wheeler heading east on Highway 21 was not given due consideration by the RV, which was halted at an intersection.

The 18-wheeler’s driver sustained only minor wounds. The RV’s driver and passenger were both unharmed. By 2:00 p.m., Eastbound traffic on Highway 21 is reduced to one lane, while westbound traffic is being rerouted to FM 50 South.
