According to a Saturday Facebook post from the South San Francisco Police Department (SSFPD), one suspect was detained following a car chase involving a stolen vehicle. On Friday night, the driver of the stolen car struck numerous parked cars on the 100 block of Avalon Drive.
Once the car crashed, the unidentified suspect made an attempt to escape. After the suspect attempted to flee, officers arrested him.
The front of a white Chevy struck the side of a white Nissan sedan, according to photos shared by SSFPD. The two cars were observed in front of a house.
Police from San Bruno, Colma, and Broadmoor assisted the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office in the response. Authorities didn’t provide any other details about this occurrence.
The 100 block of Avalon Drive in South San Francisco is close to the California Gold Club and Highway 280.
