DeKalb County: 19-Year-Old Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter in Car Shooting
A 19-year-old, Quintavious Wilkes, has been taken into custody by DeKalb County police following an incident where they believe he accidentally shot and killed another 19-year-old last week.

Wilkes Involved in Fatal Shooting
Last Friday, the incident occurred in a car, where Wilkes allegedly fired a shot that killed another young guy. The incident occurred while there were other passengers in the vehicle.
The cops were called and arrived on the scene in the 1800 block of Shawn Wayne Court before 10 p.m.

Victim Dies, Investigation Ongoing
When police arrived, they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to his back, however authorities believe the shooting occurred elsewhere.
The injured young man was transported to the hospital for treatment, but he died sadly. The identify of the deceased has not yet been released by authorities.
DeKalb County police are continuing to investigate the shooting and the events leading up to the unfortunate event. Quintavious Wilkes was arrested and is being held in the DeKalb County Jail as a result of the incident.
