DC Man Fatally Shot In Prince George’s County, Investigation Underway
In the early hours of January 1, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Prince George’s County that has left the community in shock. The local police department is currently investigating the shooting death of a man.
At approximately 4:30 a.m. on that fateful morning, law enforcement authorities responded swiftly to reports of gunfire in the 2900 block of Brinkley Rd. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a man who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds outside a building. The victim was in dire need of medical attention.

Subsequent investigations have revealed that the victim was identified as Breon Fowler, a 30-year-old resident of Washington, D.C. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Fowler’s injuries proved fatal, and he tragically lost his life after being transported to a hospital.
