The Metropolitan Police Department said on Friday that police were searching for a suspect armed with two firearms after a 15-year-old kid was shot in the Northwest.
At 5:42 p.m., MPD tweeted about a gunshot in the 1200 block of 7th Street NW. The tweet said the shooter was a man driving a grey Mercedes-Benz automobile. The front part of the automobile was dented, and it had paper tags.

The youngster was taken to the hospital by DC Fire and EMS, where he later passed away.
