Saturday at 5:50 p.m., officers in the northwest area of Atlanta are called to the scene of an unresponsive woman. There, they discovered a 77-year-old woman who had been severely beaten and had multiple cuts but was not responsive, awake, or breathing when they arrived.
Eleanor Bowles was identified as the woman whose body was found and pronounced dead by police. Bowles’ 2021 Lexus SUV was stolen during the incident but was later found, according to the Atlanta police.
The police have released photos of a suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him. Police have promised to protect the identities of anyone providing information that leads to an arrest and offers a reward of up to $10,000.
