WVUE NEW ORLEANS – A Houston-area teacher was discovered “alive and well” in New Orleans after a two-state search.
Michelle Reynolds, 48, went missing after her husband reported her missing on September 22. According to Houston media outlets, her husband stated that she left to get something to eat and never returned.
Reynolds’ car discovers in New Orleans a few days later. But the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office provided no information about when, where, and in what state it is discovered.
Reynolds saw on surveillance video, with still images widely circulated online. Parking her car in New Orleans’ Warehouse District and walking away.
According to a November 1 release from the sheriff’s office, Louisiana State Police discovered Reynolds, reuniting her with her family more than a month after her disappearance.
According to Sheriff Bo Stallman, Reynolds teaches language arts at Alvin Independent School District’s Fairview Junior High.
Alvin is a small town south of Houston best known for being the hometown and birthplace of Hall of Fame MLB pitcher Nolan Ryan.
