Accident at Maryland Construction Site- Crane Operator Fell from 30 Feet Height, and Several got Injured

On a construction site in Silver Spring, at least one crane operator fell and was hurt, according to authorities. According to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue, two adults were taken to the hospital in critical condition after one fell approximately 30 feet at the location of the future Silver Place.

Two adults were taken by ambulance, one with life-threatening trauma and the other with less severe injuries. According to Piringer, at least one crane operator was hurt after falling about 30 feet. The State Agency for Occupational Safety and Health in Maryland was called.

According to MCFRS Public Information Officer Pete Piringer, the fire department was dispatched to a construction site on Georgia Avenue and Spring Street (the future site of Silver Place) in Silver Spring.

After the occurrence, MOSHA was informed. According to a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department, the victims are a top and a second priority.
