A Man in Chicago has been Accused of Stabbing His Mother, Wife, and Two Children

According to reports, a father killed his mother, estranged wife, and children. As per the Lake McHenry County Scanner, Andrei Kisliak, 39, stabbed his 36-year-old wife, Vera, and his 6- and 4-year-old daughters, Vivian and Amilia.

A 67-year-old woman named Lilia Kisliak is also said to have been murdered by her son, Kisliak. This Monday, authorities discovered the bodies of five people, including Andrei Kisliak; WGN9 has deemed the deaths a “murder-suicide.”

The Buffalo Grove Police Department did not confirm the tragedy was a murder-suicide at a press conference on Thursday, but they did say it was the consequence of a domestic dispute.

Sharp force injuries were the cause of death in each case

During the news conference, Lake County Coroner Jennifer Banek also stated that four out of the five autopsies had been performed and that sharp force injuries were the cause of death in each case.

After filing for divorce in July, the alleged perpetrator and his wife were nearing the end of their marriage. Two weeks after Vera Kisliak had gotten a restraining order against her husband in September, he violated it.

The Daily Herald reported on October 25 that he had been arrested and released after a judge had issued a two-year order of protection to Vera Kisliak.

After receiving a welfare check request from a coworker of one of the ladies in residence at approximately 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Buffalo Grove officers arrived at the scene of the murders on the 2800 block of Acacia Terrace.
