A man is brutally murdered in an alley on the South Side of the city on Friday night.
Officers responded to gunfire in the 10300 block of South Green Street at 10:05 p.m. and discovered a 64-year-old male unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was pronounced dead at the site, and no suspects have been apprehended.
Detectives from Zone 1 are investigating. The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene, and nobody is in custody.
Police stated that they have no information about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
