As residents of New York City stay in long queues to receive their booster shots to qualify for $100 dollars cash incentive, the deadline of December 31 announced Mayor Bill de Blasio is approaching.
This comes as the city and others across the United States battle to curtail the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19. The U.S. has seen increasing trend of hospitalizations caused by the pandemic.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said the cash incentive was a limited offer. The offer which began on December 21, will end at the end of the year. To qualify for this incentive, you must get your booster shot at a city-run vaccine site or a SOMOS partner vaccination site.
