Three people were hurt, one of them critically, in a shooting and car crash on the South Side on Monday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
CPD said that a 49-year-old man was shot in the head shortly after 4 o’clock in a westbound automobile in the 400-block of 87th Street.
The victim was shot and then involved in a car accident.
The shooting victim was transferred in critical condition to University of Chicago Hospital.
According to Chicago fire officials, two people who were injured in the car accident were transported to the hospital in good to fair condition with minor injuries.
No one is being held in custody right now. Detectives from Area 2 are looking into it.
