$1,657 Checks Coming in Days, Quite a Number Will Not Get the Pay

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients will receive a $1,657 payment in the coming days, which is the final check for the month of March.

This includes Arizona, Mississippi, North Dakota, West Virginia, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

For people whose birthdays fall at the beginning, middle, or end of the month, Social Security checks will be mailed on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of every month.

With the COLA hike, retirees will now see, on average, a $1,565 monthly check increase to $1,657 per month.

Additionally, a typical couple’s monthly benefits will currently rise to $2,753 from $2,599.
