What Happened To Riley Strain?
Riley Strain was reported missing on Saturday. On March 8, 2024, he was said to have been kicked out of Luke Bryan’s bar in Nashville. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department says that people who knew him last saw him that night on Broadway.
The Post Dispatch, FOX affiliate WZTV, and NBC affiliate WSMV-TV all said that he was kicked out of Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, which is the restaurant and bar owned by country music star Luke Bryan.
One of the last people to see Strain said that he and his wife “heard a commotion” as he walked by. “We looked back up. He almost fell over. The last bush right there caught him… He was very, very, very intoxicated… I never seen anybody stumble that hard before.”
MU said in a statement soon after Strain went missing, “The safety of our community is our highest priority. Our thoughts are with Riley’s family as the search continues. We will be offering any support to them that we can, and we encourage anyone who needs help to reach out to our counseling resources.”
Officers Release Video Of Riley Strain’s Body Camera
On March 18, 2024, Nashville police shared a creepy video of Riley Strain taken with his body camera. That was the last time anyone saw him before he disappeared. When Strain walked by, the police officer was on Gay Street responding to a call about a break-in.
“Hey, how are you?” Strain asked the police officer. The cop replied, “How are you, sir?” Strain kept going and telling himself, “I’m good.”
Police Found Riley Strain’s Bank Card
Police said on March 17, 2024, that Riley Strain’s bank card had been found in the Cumberland River bank along Gay Street. A woman and her friend, who often post on TikTok, found it while they were looking for the lost 22-year-old.

The sides of the river have been searched by officials for days. Metro Police Sgt. Robert Nielsen said at a news conference on Thursday, March 14, “They’ve gone up and down the bank. They’ve done multiple sweeps. Urban search and rescue has checked several areas, including dilapidated buildings as well as storm drains.”
