Nike spent most of 2022 broadening the Air Force 1’s boundaries and incorporating global inspirations into the design of the shoe.
Its most recent hue is also far-travelled, having just returned from a journey to San Francisco‘s very own Chinatown.
San Francisco Chinatown
The white leather sole of the Nike Air Force 1 “San Francisco Chinatown” has a debossed lotus blossom design around the heel.
Along with gilded Chinese characters and Swooshes, this theme can be seen on the tongue label and sockliner.
The pink used in the Nike Air logo’s background also blossoms along the gradients of the Swoosh, the midsole, and the aforementioned label.
The Nike Air emblem is framed by both gold and pink. View the official photographs of this new Air Force 1 below for a closer look. Even though there isn’t a specific release date yet, it is likely that they will be available in January 2023.
