The year 2023 is quickly approaching, and a ranking has just revealed that Chicago is among the finest places in the United States to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Financial planning blog Chicago ranked eighth on WalletHub’s list of the top ten U.S. cities for “epic” New Year’s Eve celebrations, which it compiled after comparing the country’s 100 most populous cities.

According to the survey, Chicago has the ninth-most restaurants and the ninth-most nightlife per capita of all cities studied. Chicago received an 84 overall and a 56 for safety and accessibility on a scale from 1 (worst) to 100 (best) for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
