A new list has been released by US News & World Report.
Four Illinois metro regions made the list for this study on the greatest places to retire.
Chicago placed 56th out of 150 cities, followed by Peoria at 79th, the Quad Cities at 87th, and Rockford at 104th.

The data were based on the cost of housing, access to health care, and general contentment.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is the best location to retire in the nation.
