DUI Suspect Arrested With Murder In Wrong-Way Collision on Fwy 10 Downtown LA!
A 25-year-old man from Los Angeles was arrested for DUI and m*rder after he ran the red light on the 10 Freeway and ki!!ed another driver when he crashed into their car head-on.
CHP officials say Brandon Bencomo was driving his 2022 Kia Stinger on the road around 4:38 a.m. Thursday with a 5-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman in the back seat.
He was going west in the eastbound lanes and hit a Honda Fit that was going the right way on the freeway east of Santa Fe Avenue directly.
The driver and only person in the Honda, a 33-year-old guy from Los Angeles, was ki!!ed. The three people in the Kia were taken to the hospital with minor to major injuries.

As per the CHP report, the 5-year-old girl in the Kia was not wearing any safety gear, like a seat belt or child seat, when the accident happened.
The Honda driver’s name has not been shared until his or her family has been notified. The CHP report didn’t make it clear if the people in the Kia were linked to each other.
