Disenchanted plot: What is the story of Enchanted 2?
According to the official plot synopsis for Disenchanted on IMDb, “Ten years after her happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently turning the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down.”
So it appears that this film will ultimately challenge the concept of “happily ever after,” which seems appropriate for such a franchise. The film will follow Giselle and her husband Robert, as well as their stepdaughter Morgan, as they relocate to a suburb, and Giselle struggles to accept her place in everyday life.
Disney Insider recently released a more extensive, more spoilers plot synopsis, so proceed with caution before reading on!
Despite a more introspective storyline, Amy Adams has confirmed that there will be more singing and dancing than in the original film.
She commented on the arduous training for the film’s musical numbers during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying, “There’s a lot more singing and a lot more dancing, which was humbling.”
“The last time I saw you. I was in my twenties and really danced as much as I’m required to dance in this. Now I’m not in my 20s.” It’s different in your forties. When I’m dancing, I feel like I’m in my 20s, and then I watch the replay and think, ‘Whoa, that’s not the same!””
