Collier County Crash Leaves Two Victims In Hospital
Following an accident and vehicle fire in Collier County on Wednesday afternoon, two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital. At approximately 1:45 p.m., North Collier Fire (NCF) got a dispatch of a collision at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Valewood Drive.
The fire was started, according to NCF, after a car struck a trailer that was hauling lawn equipment. Passengers had already left the cars when firefighters arrived soon after to put out the fire.
According to NCF, two patients were sent to a nearby hospital for medical attention. There are currently only two lanes on westbound Immokalee Road near Valewood Drive while workers guide traffic.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reports that at around 2:00 p.m., all westbound lanes of Immokalee Road at Valewood Drive were closed, and eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane.
