The Chicago Fire Department reports that two ladies were killed in a home fire on Tuesday in West Englewood.
The fire department received a call about a blaze in the 7200 block of South Wolcott Avenue placed on the city’s southwestern edge.

The fire department said on Twitter that the bodies of two women were found while they were doing more research.
A news conference held by the fire service revealed that none of the home’s smoke alarms were operational.
On Tuesday, the city had two tragic fires.
The fire’s origin is still unknown.
None of the women’s names or any other identifying information has been made public.
