Beyoncé Becomes First Black Woman to Wear 128-Carat Iconic Yellow Diamond
Over the years, the power couple of Queen Beyonce & Jay-Z have worked together on multiple occasions to produce iconic hits,
✅Crazy in Love
✅03 Bonnie & Clyde
✅ A Joint Album “Everything Is Love.”
When the time comes, they never leave any opportunity to work together. And every time the two stars come together, it’s a treat for their fans.
Now, once again, they are coming together to create something magical for a project of Tiffany & Co. campaign.
Titled “About Love”, this project is scheduled to release on 2nd September globally. In this project, Beyonce and Jay-Z are cast as the “epitome of a modern love story”.
The center of this campaign will be the jeweler’s signature Tiffany Diamond, worn by Beyonce. Jewelry wore by Beyonce was 1st discovered in 1878 in South Africa.
It weighs in at 128.54 carats and is one of the largest yellow diamonds you would ever see.

Over the years, the yellow diamond has been worn by just three others, including socialite Mary Whitehouse, who wore the jewel in 1957, and Audrey Hepburn, who wore the diamond in 1961 while promoting her film Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
And quite recently, the same diamond was worn by Lady Gaga at the 2019 Oscars.
On the other hand, Jay-Z is wearing a black and white tuxedo and a pair of cufflinks constructed using Tiffany’s “Bird on a Rock” brooch, created by esteemed French designer Jean Schlumberger in 1956.
The pair are seen posing in front of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s “Equals Pi” painting which has been reimagined in Tiffany blue.
The campaign also features a short film shot by Jay-Z that sees Beyonce cover “Moon River”, a classic song from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitomai of the modern love story. As a brand that has always stood for love, strength, and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values,” Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president of product and communications at the jeweler said.
Even though Beyonce and Jay-Z are one of Hollywood’s most private couples, both of them have always stayed candid about their relationship through their music.
They first solidified their relationship in the music video for “03 Bonnie and Clyde” in 2003, in which they appeared as boyfriend and girlfriend.
The pair married in 2008 and have since had three children; Blue Ivy, 9, and twins Sir and Rumi, 4.
