According to reports, after being rocked by a large data breach in July, T-Mobile was hit by another cyberattack in August. According to papers published by The T-Mo Report, it appears that attackers gained access to “a tiny number” of users’ accounts this time around.
According to the study, consumers were either victim of a SIM switching attack (which might allow someone to overcome SMS-powered two-factor verification), had their plan info is given, or both.
According to the affidavit, the private network information on customers that was accessed might have included their billing account name, phone number, and account number, as well as information about their plan, such as how many lines were tied to their account, among other things.
The airline verified a data breach affecting over 50 million consumers last summer, with the attacker gaining access to social security numbers, names, and dates of birth, among other information.
According to a person claiming to be him, the hacker went on to describe the company’s security methods as “terrible.”

In response to people on Twitter, T-support Mobile’s account appears to have admitted a breach, stating that the company is taking “urgent action” to assist anyone put in danger due to the assault.
The corporation did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Verge for comment.
