Stanly County Deputies on Mission to Locate Missing Elderly Man
The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing persons alert for Arthur Mabe, 79, who is now missing.
Mr. Mabe, who has a history of going missing, was last reported in Mecklenburg County.
Authorities are advising the community to be on the keep an eye on, particularly around the Walmart on Leonard Avenue in Albemarle, which he frequents.

Identifying the Missing Individual
Mr. Mabe is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds. He has short grey hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing blue pants and a red long-sleeved flannel shirt.
Authorities emphasize the importance of identifying him to aid in the search efforts.

Last Location and Vehicle Info
The most recent sighting of Mr. Mabe was along Aldridge Road in Norwood.
He was driving a silver 2003 Lincoln Town & Country sedan having the North Carolina licence plate JCA4201.
The vehicle shows signs of front-end damage, including a dent on the driver’s side and tape on the driver’s side bumper.
