The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol incident will question Tony Ornato, Donald Trump‘s deputy White House chief of staff, on Tuesday, a source said.
Ornato, who was a key witness to the fight in the Capitol, is likely to be asked about Cassidy Hutchinson, who was an adviser to Mark Meadows, the former chief of staff of the White House.
Ornato told Hutchinson over the summer that Trump became enraged when his Secret Service team refused to transport him to the Capitol as his fans flocked to the building.

Trump demanded to be driven up Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol, according to Ornato.
Kate Driscoll, Ornato’s attorney, didn’t mention his attendance Tuesday. “Mr. Ornato continues to assist with the January 6th select committee’s investigation,” she told NBC.
The New York Times reported the interview, but committee officials would not comment.
