Hundreds of Americans Are Eligible to Receive $6,300 Stimulus Check Before December 15
In the next few days, students at a medical school in Atlanta, Georgia, will receive a fantastic Christmas present. According to The U.S. Sun, Morehouse School of Medicine students will receive $6,300 to cover education-related expenses during the holidays.
On Wednesday, the school’s president, Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, sent a note to all students describing how they may utilize the money.
She said, “I am happy to announce that Morehouse School of Medicine will provide a financial gift of $6,300 to assist each of our currently enrolled, degree-seeking students with additional academic, financial, and mental health support costs such as childcare, food, transportation, housing, and healthcare needs.”
In March, the Coronavirus Act of 2020 was signed into law by then-President Trump, which created a framework for federal spending on coronaviruses. In addition, Congress passed a $2.2 trillion bill to assist both individuals and businesses in the aftermath of the coronavirus epidemic.

Other Medical Schools that Distribute Stimulus Checks
In November, Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, handed out $10,000 scholarships to 956 students. Those expecting direct deposit were expected to have their money as of two weeks ago.
Some institutions and schools have begun providing financial assistance to their pupils in the wake of the economic downturn. Families may also receive a cash injection over the coming weeks. The final round of advance payments for the Child Tax Credit will be distributed on December 15th.
Families with children under the age of six are eligible for $300 per child, whereas families with kids between six and 17 are entitled to $250 per kid. In addition, families who have kids may claim up to $1,800 in child tax credits next year.
