Garrison Brown, Son of ‘Sister Wives’ Stars Janelle and Kody Brown, Was Found Dead at His Arizona Home
The adult son of reality TV stars Janelle and Kody Brown, who was also a cast member of “Sister Wives,” Garrison Brown, was found dead at his Arizona home on Tuesday. He was only 25.
Flagstaff police said he appeared to have died by suicide. Officers responding to an allegation of a fatality at the home were met by Garrison’s younger brother, Gabe, according to authorities.
Police stated the death was under investigation, and there was no evidence of foul play.
“Sister Wives,” a TLC reality show that has been broadcast for 18 seasons, follows Kody Brown, his four wives, and their 18 children. He has six children and three grandchildren with Janelle and has stated that he is alienated from them.
Kody and Janelle posted virtually identical statements on their respective Instagram profiles on Tuesday, informing people about Garrison’s death.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” they wrote. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

TLC said in a statement: “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
Garrison’s mother had lauded him for his carpentry skills, which he demonstrated by restoring a vintage camping trailer and building a handmade table just for her.

The alienation between Kody and his children with Janelle was discussed during season 18 of the show, which premiered last fall.
“We’ve reached out and tried to be open and neglected and overlooked for offenses that were believed to have happened but they never did,” Garrison Brown stated in one episode.
Police said the death was being investigated.
“At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating,” the police added.
