CFTB to Deposit $555 Million Worth of Stimulus Checks?

The California Franchise Tax Board says that thousands of Americans will be getting another stimulus check this Friday. 

The Sun reports that in total, the payments are worth nearly $555million.

Direct deposits can take a few days to appear in your bank account, while paper checks can take a few weeks in the mail.

The California Franchise Tax Board expects to issue around nine million payments under the Golden State Stimulus II.

So far 5.65million stimulus checks have been paid out – leaving 3.35million yet to be issued.

The Golden Stimulus II checks will be paid out roughly every two weeks until every eligible Californian has received one.
