A man passed away while he was working at a roadway excavation site in Orange County, which is located close to Tustin.
Wednesday morning at approximately 10:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the vicinity of Crawford Canyon Road and Newport Avenue in response to a report of a “medical emergency,” as stated by the Orange County Fire Authority.

According to the OCFA, the man was found 15 feet underground in an excavation trench that collapsed on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
