On Monday, a woman from Desert Hot Springs was killed when she was hit by a car while walking across a street in the Los Angeles neighbourhood of Broadway-Manchester. The driver left the scene, Officials said.

A collision happened near the intersection of Main and 92nd streets at about 7:50 p.m., according to a Los Angeles Police Department press release.
Hit by a Dark-Coloured Car
18-year-old Dream Legarreta walked into Main Street. She was hit by a dark-coloured car travelling north. The driver kept going north instead of stopping to help and calling for help from emergency services.
While paramedics tried to save Legaretta’s life, she was declared dead at the scene.
There is a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the identification, capture, conviction, or civil settlement of a criminal.
