In 2016, a woman was sentenced to 25 years for robbery in Chicago, Illinois, where her ex-boyfriend murdered six people.
In February 2016, Jafeth Ramos, 25, saw her ex-boyfriend, Uribe Cruz, murder six family members at their Chicago home. The six family members that were slain included two little sons. Ramos helped Cruz rob the home after the deaths.
Ramos was sentenced to 25 years in jail on Tuesday.

Cook County prosecutors accepted Ramos’ armed robbery plea. She consented to testify against Cruz.
Ramos faced nearly 500 criminal charges in connection with the deaths, ranging from first-degree murder to burglary, but pleaded guilty to only one.
Last month, Cruz was sentenced to life in prison on six charges of first-degree murder. During his trial, Ramos allegedly told jurors she accepted the plea deals in the hope of one day being with her kid again.

Her child was barely a toddler when Ramos and Cruz were arrested in May 2016.
Prosecutors stated that Cruz shot his aunt, Maria Martinez, 32. He attempted to rob her first. He stabbed her 10- and 13-year-old boys and murdered three relatives to “make sure there were no witnesses.”
