“California is dying a slow and painful death,” says Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham, host of Fox News Channel’s ‘The Ingraham Angle’ on Wednesday’s episode. She claims that Democrat policies are to blame for the state’s decline, saying “The American dream in many ways began right here in California. Now, it wasn’t just the land of sunshine, Surfin USA, and beautiful people. But from the gold rush to the tech boom, it was a place that epitomized America’s potential and limitless opportunities. But after a decade of Democrats dominating every branch of government here, it’s all unraveling.”
According to its website, ‘The Ingraham Angle’ is a show that aims to ‘speak directly with unexpected voices and the actual people who are impacted by the news of the day.’ In an episode, the titular host “exposes the real situation in San Francisco” by walking down the street near the district’s police office, where she is told that criminals there are not afraid to commit crime despite being near the police office because “they know there are no consequences,” as per Police Union Chief Tony Montoya, who says DA Chesa Boudin is the primary reason for rising crime, drugs, and homelessness rates in San Francisco.

Montoya says “I’d say have the swiftest revolving door in the criminal justice system, where it’s a small group of people committing these crimes again, and again, and again (..) and they’re doing so because they realize that as long as Chesa Boudin is in office, there would be no consequences.”
“People like Chesa Boudin in San Francisco and George Gascon in L.A., total travesties.” Ingraham remarks. “They’re more focused on letting the criminals walk free than seeing them locked up and off the streets.”

Ingraham reflects on the cultural impact of California, often dubbed the Golden State. She states that California “epitomized America’s potential and limitless opportunities” and its current landscape under Democrat rule is a warning for other cities across the nation.
Taking a jab at President Joe Biden, she says “If you want to know where America is headed if we dont turn the tide against Biden’s socialist regime, look no further than right here in California. Now is the time to throw the leftist bums out (…) and California can lead the nation once again.”
