The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a new phone scam.
Several people have reported receiving calls from individuals claiming to be from the Sheriff’s Office. These callers request money for supposed legal issues.

How the Scam Works?
The scam callers pretend to be from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and mention things like missed court dates, owed fines, criminal offenses, or court processes to make their calls seem legitimate.
They then ask for money or electronic transfers to avoid warrants or arrests.
