A car was reportedly seen being driven into a bayou in southwest Houston on Monday, and authorities are currently looking into the claim. As reported by Houston law enforcement, the event occurred in the 8300 block of Wilcrest, close to Beechnut Street.
The crash was reported at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, but police suspect it happened at 3 a.m. Whoever was behind the car’s wheel at the time of the accident is unknown. An investigation into a crash in which a car was claimed to have driven into a bayou at 8300 Wilcrest, close to Beechnut Street, was announced on Twitter by the Houston Police Department.
The police say “It was reported around 2:30 p.m., but the crash is thought to have happened at 3 a.m. It would help if you stayed away from there.”
