US Reaches 700,0000 COVID Deaths as President Biden Requests Americans to Get Vaccinated
As the United States neared the danger zone of 700,000 COVID-19 deaths on Friday, public health experts were quick to point out that many of the recent fatalities might have been avoided if more Americans had been immunized.
Although vaccines were readily and widely available, the majority of 100,000 Americans who perished in the last 3 1/2 months were unvaccinated. The three vaccines used in the United States have been proven to lower the danger of hospitalization and death.

On Saturday, President Joe Biden issued a statement saying “the astonishing death toll is yet another reminder of just how important it is to get vaccinated. Hundreds of thousands of families have been spared the unbearable loss that too many Americans have already endured during this pandemic. If you haven’t already, please get vaccinated. It can save your life and the lives of those you love. It will help us beat COVID-19 and move forward, together, as one nation.”
In the United States, about 76% of people have been vaccinated. That is a lot! In addition, 65% of people have been fully vaccinated. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also found that about 4.7 million more people who are already fully vaccinated have received another shot since August 13th as they had a weakened immune
