The location of a two-vehicle injury collision in Twin Falls County on Thursday at 5:36 p.m. is being investigated by the police.
A 19-year-old Filer man was driving a 1986 Toyota truck north on 1900 E when, according to Idaho State Police, he briefly stopped and neglected to yield to oncoming traffic on US 30.
The Buhl woman, 24, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado west on US 30 when she collided with the Toyota. The driver of the Toyota was sent by air ambulance to a hospital in Eastern Idaho. The Chevrolet’s driver was driven in a personal vehicle to a nearby hospital.

The Toyota’s driver was not using a seatbelt. The Chevrolet’s driver had on a seatbelt. In order to provide emergency services and law enforcement time to assess and clear the scene, US 30 was closed for about two hours.
The Filer Fire Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Buhl Police Department, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Air Saint Luke’s provided support to the Idaho State Police.
