Two suspects in a September house party shooting in east El Paso, which injured two people, including an adolescent, have been identified and taken into custody by police.
El Paso police have taken into custody Horizon resident Luis Ruiz, 19, and El Paso resident Alan Villanueva, 18, in relation to a gunshot that occurred on September 3 in the 10900 block of Gary Player Drive.

Two victims, one aged 20 and the other 17 were treated for gunshot wounds following many gunshots fired during a huge party, according to the police report.
Police discovered the 20-year-old at the shooting scene, and he was subsequently brought to the hospital. The second victim, the 17-year-old, was later discovered in a hospital after partygoers took it upon themselves to drive the victim to get medical attention.

Ruiz faces two charges totaling $7,500: escaping arrest or detention and refusing arrest, search, or transport. Villanueva faces a $100,000 bond and is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The investigation that resulted in the arrests was carried out by Crimes Against Persons detectives.
