A sad incident occurred late on a Friday night in the northern suburbs, culminating in the death of a pedestrian following a collision with a vehicle.
Around 6:44 p.m., the Park City Police Department responded to reports of a traffic accident at Route 120 and Staben Avenue.
Gurnee and Waukegan Fire Departments have also been called to the scene to help.

Despite first responders’ rapid efforts, a 39-year-old male involved in the collision unfortunately died at the spot.
Authorities are hiding the victim’s identity in order to respect the victim’s family while they await notification.

The identity of the driver involved in the accident has not been revealed. Law enforcement is continuing their investigation to learn more about the circumstances surrounding this sad tragedy.
