Tragic Incident In York County: Double Murder-Suicide Ruled In Stabbings!
York County police have determined that the fatal stabbing incident from last week was a murder-suicide. According to Hanover Borough Police, on December 28, inside a residence on the 900 block of E. Walnut Street, Rogelio Arvizu fatally stabbed his 17-year-old son, Dylan Arvizu-Morales, and his 49-year-old wife, Guadalupe Arvizu-Morales.
Rogelio Arvizu was also charged with domestic violence after allegedly stabbing his 27-year-old son in the neck.
Later, on the 900 block of Broadway, self-sustained wounds were discovered on Rogelio. Prior to his death, homicide charges were pending against him, according to officials, but they have now been dropped.

According to the York County Coroner’s office, the incident seems to be tied to domestic killings. After three years of living in the neighborhood, Heather Sprenkle claims to have “never seen anything like this before.” She said, “There’s never any action going around here like that.”
The York County Sheriff’s Department, York County Forensics Team, York County Coroners Office, and Hanover Area Fire and Rescue EMS provided support to the Hanover Borough Police Department while they were on the scene.
