According to authorities on Thursday, a 61-year-old pedestrian in Minneapolis passed away two days after being hit by a car while crossing an intersection.
On October 24, a car heading north on Chicago Avenue South struck a 61-year-old man, Bion Hopkins, who was crossing the roadway, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
According to the police, the driver tried to evade the pedestrian but ended up sticking him and an empty car.
The pedestrian was found by first responders on the ground, suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center by paramedics, where he passed away two days later.
