In connection with the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred early on Thursday morning in the Northshore-Collinwood district of Cleveland, the police have taken into custody a man who is 21 years old.
At approximately 3:30 in the morning, a shooting took place on Harland Avenue, which is located between Lakeshore Boulevard and East 185th Street. The filing of formal charges has not yet taken place.
According to the authorities, the mother, identified as Dimesha Wright, was shot while she was holding her child who was seven months old. There was no hit on the child from the shooting.

According to the record kept by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, Wright was discovered dead in the front yard of the residence by a neighbor.
What led up to the shooting was not disclosed by the Cleveland police department.

Additionally, a woman who was 22 years old was hurt during the incident; however, she was not hit by gunfire.
It was not made clear by a police spokesperson how she sustained her injuries.
Taking security measures, the seven-month-old infant was transported to a nearby hospital, according to the officials.
