Three Wounded in Gunfire Outside an Atlanta Bakery

ATLANTA — Monday night, a gunshot outside a store in southwest Atlanta injures three young individuals.

Officers were sent to a location on Northside Drive at Stonewall Street in front of a bakery. The Castleberry Hills neighborhood is close to Atlanta University Center and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

A representative for the Atlanta Police Department said that all three patients had been transported to the hospital. According to authorities, two teenagers were brutally shot, and the third victim seemed to have been grazed by a bullet. At the hospital, one of the casualties is classed as critical.

Video shows APD officers barricading Northside Drive with crime scene tape and Nelson Street with many police cars. Several evidence markers were seen along the roadway and a few more in the company’s parking area.

Investigators are attempting to put together what led to the gunshots and decide whether or not anybody will be charged. It is believed that the shooting resulted from a fight between a juvenile male suspect (or suspects) that the victims knew.
