A missing youngster was found safe about five months after she vanished. According to the sheriff’s office, 16-year-old Kaylee Jones went missing on June 14 on Whooping Creek Church Road in Carrollton. They say she has been located and reunited with her loved ones.
Jones’s loved ones have previously expressed concern that she is seeing someone she met online. A year ago, the sheriff’s office stated, the family uprooted from Florida and settled in Carrollton. They spent months following up on false leads, but deputies say they are “grateful” she was located in the end.
Due to the “sensitivity of the case,” the sheriff’s office remains tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
